The Ford Focus was a compact car beloved across four generations. I was a three-door hatchback, sedan, and five-door station wagon first, in 1999, and a five-door hatchback arrived soon after, in 2001. By 2002, it had a high-performance variant, Ford Focus RS, with all-wheel drive. The second generation appeared in 2004, and it would be restyled in 2011 to include a two-door coupe. Meanwhile, in 2005, an even sportier variant, Ford Focus ST, appeared. By 2011 and a third generation, Ford would release a Mark III international version worldwide, bringing back the five-door hatch and wagon, but newly designed.
The fourth generation left Wayne and Michigan forever in 2018, and though the Ford Focus might've been gone, it wasn't forgotten. After all, it had been a favorite at rally car events like the World Rally Championship, not to mention at touring car events like the SCCA's Speed World Challenge Touring Car Series.
The final generation Ford Focus came equipped with such standard features as a turbo four-cylinder engine that teamed to a six-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive, along with 15-inch wheels, Bluetooth streaming, anti-lock brakes, SYNC entertainment and communications system, halogen headlights, and remote keyless entry.
